Brad Pitt had no problem sharing the limelight with another actor when featured on Shania Twain's 1998 hit single "That Don't Impress Me Much".
Last month, the country singer performed the song in a series of her biggest hits at the 2022 People's Choice Awards, and she changed the lyrics a bit.
Instead of singing the catchy line, "Yeah, you're Brad Pitt / That doesn't make much of an impression on me," Mark Twain changed Pitt's name to Ryan Reynolds, who was attending the People's Icon Awards. Reynolds' name is generally unknown to most people, so Twain capitalized it.
The "Deadpool" star reacted with surprise at the time, but Pitt has yet to comment on the humorous lyrics change so far.
"Babylon" director Damien Chazelle and Brad Pitt were interviewed by The Movie Dweeb about their new film.
In a TikTok video uploaded to the store's account, Merrifield praised Chazelle for the music on "Babylon." However, Merrifield joked that the music could have been even better if he said "That doesn't impress me much."
Merrifield Pitt asked about Reynolds and Reynolds' interactions at the Twain People's Choice Awards and gave him a card with an answer from "The Proposal" actor Reynolds.
"Tell him you think he stole your thunder." Merrifield asked me to tell him my thoughts on how he stole my thunder.
Pitt replied: "He doesn't steal. I think we can split the property there."
The 59-year-old actor added: “Ryan is also a good egg. He deserves to be loved.”
He also gave me some helpful tips on how Twain can improve the track in the future.
"I think they'll pass our intro and the next time she sings it to Austin Butler, she will." I said.
When the interviewer suggested that he or Chazelle might receive a thank you, Pitt jokingly replied, "No, very doubtful."
Whoever is mentioned in the next song will surely be as proud as Reynolds.
The camera pans towards him after Twain sings his name, and he grins and seems to open his mouth, "Me?" before he started giggling.
